Great that your using a smaller tube. Here is Nova Scotia we bass love eating the dragon fly larva, IMHO Strike King makes the best tubes. I catch a lot of big smallmouth just hanging my tube over the side of the boat when the bass are targeting Alewife.
man I've watched alot of fishing videos and this is one of the most serene, stress relieving looking areas I've seen. keep up the good videos, and thanks for replying most of the time, unlike alot of fishing channels

Agreed on your tube selection for SM those slightly smaller ones seem to work so much better than the 4 inch, better hookups. Ever use Zoom tubes? There my favorite. Nice fish.
Have you ever fished Katinka lake Wisconsin? I am going up for a family reunion in August and they live right on Katinka, I wanna catch some smallmouth while I'm there! Any advise! Or any other public small lakes in the Katinka lake area.
Man this gets me excited for smallmouth fishing this weekend…so last October I was fishing around a fallen tree in a cove area and the sun was setting and I threw a tube in and these 2 smallmouths ran out after it real quick but didnt hit it. They were both 7+ pounds they were enormous…never got em to come back out again.
Healthy looking smallies on that lake. We went out to our local reservoir in pa. last night. We did very well with the slab crappie, and a half dozen smb off the sunken trees. Shad Raps #5 were doing the trick for us tonight for everything. Our bass averaged 2lbs on my digital scale, but their is bigger ones in there.
I see you fish a lot on butternut lake, vilas county. I live no more than five miles away from it and fish it often. It's nice to get tips on lakes that are actually relevant to me. Keep up the vids.
