That’s awesome man seeing you fish my city, there is HUGE small mouth off the lake front but the Chicago/Lake Michigan is very hard to get the fish to bite also starting to see Northern taking a strong hold in the harbors and the water is definitely cleaner that it was growing up.
Just FYI, Trump Tower, the single biggest polluter in that stretch of river. Look it up. They don't GAF.

This was awesome! My kid goes to college in Chicago so I go up there from Indy 3-4 times a year and I’ve never thought of fishing downtown, I am now. I love Chicago and have sooo much fun with my wife every time I’m up there.

FYI, there is no "Michigan River" in Chicago. It's the Chicago River, which now flows out of Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago, through the south side of the city, eventually into the Illinois River and then on into the mighty Mississippi.

i just dont get it…… Why do other fishermen cast (bait casting reel) with their dominate hand/arm (right arm) then switch the rod into their left hand to fish? Just PURCHASE a L/H reel and keep the rod in your right hand.. Dont give me any bullshit excuse,,,, because you just picked up a spinning rod/reel and its in your right arm/hand while you reel with your left….
