Upper Potomac River Smallmouth Fishing – Wading for Big Smallmouth Bass!
Today my dad and I went out to the Upper Potomac River to do one of my favorite things ever — wade fishing for smallmouth bass! This river is full of rocky ledges, current seams, and perfect ambush spots, and the smallmouth were fired up all day long.
We spent the whole trip wading, exploring shallow runs, casting into eddies, and finding smallmouth in all the sneaky river spots. The Upper Potomac is an awesome place for river smallmouth fishing, and I learned a ton fishing beside my dad.
