I was stoked to get my hands on the new Berkley KREJ and Finisher. This was my first time fishing either, and as you can tell, I had a hard time putting the KREJ down. To look at the bait simply, it’s a sinking jerkbait. The upwards turned bill makes the bait shimmy much like a spy bait while sinking. It’s fall rate is about 1 foot/second, with a slight fade away from your cast.
I caught fish on the bottom, through cover, and suspended, but it can also be used as a subsurface bait when the fish are super active. I’ll get around to fishing the finisher next, but it maybe hard to put this KREJ down.

Killin it! The weights almost look like the same as in a Duo Realis Spybait, that has that shimmy as it falls.

Its literally a Jackall Riser 007R that they figured that works as a jerkbait. I've found out that you can use the Riser 007R that exact way people are fishing this. It will fall backwards and shimmy. I guarantee you can fish this like the Riser was originally intended and it work the same way. You can fish the Riser 009PS also the same and if reeled slowly, it becomes a spy bait that moves more water. Just saying.
