How does change in clarity affect fishing. For example, would a lake that has been 6” of visibility for 6 months that clears up to 2 feet fish differently than a lake that has been 4 feet for 6months that dirties to 2 feet? If so, is there a pattern to how to how long it takes fish to change behavior in the new conditions
Hey Randy if you were me and the water is real green and the visibility is about 18 inches would you still use green pumpkin and watermelon colors or would you go to like black and blue? I’m always wondering if the bass are able to recognize my baits when I use the more green pumpkins and watermelons
Great info I've always wondered these things
Thanks.
i just bought an aquarium probe thermometer to document water temps (bank angler that keeps a fishing journal) i’m gonna nail this down it’s not the greatest model but it’s a baseline and better than just guessing the temp
my biggest problem as a bank angler is really knowing the water clarity because if it’s greater than 4 feet i have no way of knowing because by that point im seeing the bottom either way and can’t see the clarity at the color line in the distance
