Underspins are basic fishing lures that are between a swimbait and a spinnerbait. It’s essentially a jig and swimbait with a spinnerblade attached underneath. I’m still kind of confused on choosing an under spin vs a spinner bait or a bladed jig since those all provide flash and vibration from a trailer and function similarly
Realistic lure with very good action, all trap including snook, bass in rivers.
even if you dont really need the weedless, i find the belly hook versions of these simply work better. there is no problem with the trailers being too big. i use the owner flashy swimmer and it works great.
Weighted swimbait hook with under spinner and fluke is more lethal than a stick of dynamite!

I make my own custom underspins which i like to dress in marabou or bucktail but i also run a range whereby i can use plastic trailers…I will often swim and swap both presentations favouring the one that gets the most attention from the target species on the day…
