I'm new this year to Bass fishing 🎣 and I go with what the rid can do only in once. I can't go lower than 10 lbs line with my baitcaster reel. And got a few at the beginning first three times got my ABU Garcia MAX Z and not got one yet on a Lew's LZR medium heavy fast rod and can't go small then 3/8 once to 3 once lure's. But my Lew's classic medium fast 1/4 once lures and 10 lbs line I can't use a fiberglass rod only in medium heavy rods only 1/2 once. Try going off the rods guidelines and up your break's I'm on max still getting there to go lighter on the brakes. Just thinking about your birds nest go on. I'm new this year 5 months ago my son got me hooked up on Bass fishing 🎣
