👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
garlic spray on the jig in that dirty water, double the skirt too
Bare nothing banks always hold fish … lol. Sometimes the best water is in-between the docks or cover.
Well to your credit Randy you did say KentuckyLake sucked LOL
😅 ol Grandpaw haters get you views
Good information
Don't let it bother you Randy! Keep plugging away, you're due for some good luck in the near future.
They don’t seem to do that up north. I’ve never had much luck doing that..
4/9/25 paris landing caught a 7lbs catfish jigging a 16th oz crappie jig in 3 ft of straight coffee water 2 ft from the bank least 15mph south wind to the face from the bank. But it was fishing THEM SAWDUST PILES
Randy, I really enjoy your channel and your content. And I agree with your passions for nature conservancy and the ill effects of FFS. But man, you have got to start catching some tournament limits lol. It is very impressive though, that you maintain such a great positive attitude even when you don't catch a limit. It's infectious. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! And I bet that limit is right around the corner…
Sometimes knowing too much about bass fishing can work against u
Fishing is still about luck randy
That's some nasty looking water, I'll stay with the California delta and our local lakes.
You should learn to use the "cheater box" and stop being so dismissive. You and other older anglers have gained a lifetime of knowledge and are getting throttled by younger guys who are at a informational disadvantage. Maybe you could save your career instead of donating every tournament and blowing your savings.
Without being able to scout I think you did the best anyone could have done. Don’t give up your going to win another one .
Being from the North East I fish a lot of tidal estuaries and natural lakes so I don’t have much experience with the conditions you faced. In the tidal estuaries it’s about finding clean water. Sounds like a reasonable approach.
If your objective was to teach your youtube audience, then you succeeded. I learned a lot.
Randy you are a great fisherman! You have a great history in bass fishing! Ignore the haters and do what you enjoy doing. Haters will be haters no matter what you do or say. Your history and knowledge will standup to anyone. Enjoy the fishing!
Black neon tube with a rattle in it
Love the on-the-water pieces. I know it's difficult to do during tournaments though. Cheers!
Hey Randy, the reason those fish were up there for his tube, they were trying to get away from the forward facing sonar anglers
I haven't even got a single bite since all this crazy rain came in. The bite was really starring to pick up, and I was catching good fish just a few weeks ago. I've gone 4 times over the past 2 weeks and nothing. It's supposed to be in the 60s today, so I'm going to try my luck after work.
Those fish may have been eating crawdads on the dirt banks. I have seen that be the case on fast rising flooding waters on do-nothing stretches of shoreline. A tube can imitate a craw in those conditions.
THE COLD RAIN RISING MUDDY WATER DIDNT HELP THE BITE
Great sales pitch for your throwback jig. 😆
You just made a video saying a peed rig with catch you 30 fish a day. So why weren't you fishing a peed rig? This is why people can't take your videos seriously.
Literally nobody says sawdust pile.
Jesus, on the water and still begging people to subscribe.
Love the lack of ego. and Knack of knowledge. You're a True Angling Legend. Finish the story… Keep on
Keep flipping ol son Denny B would 😮
Great video, Randy. I fish KY lake and Barkley and would have been doing the same thing. Maybe tossing a spinner bait some too.
i caught them on the coosa river doing this exact same thing..
That should teach you
Sometimes you can be a 100yds off of 25lbs
Seems like every time you commit to one thing, you blow it. I'm sure you have other rods on your boat, you refuse to use them. I don't get it. Seems like you're too stubborn. For God's sake, mix it up. We all do.
