Cowan Lake in Southwest Ohio is a fantastic place to fish. Despite it being my first time on the lake itself. I managed to find a handful of bass and actually compete with some high-level kayak anglers. I am very new to kayak fishing and wanted to see if I could hang with some awesome folks on the water. I want to thank Melissa and Jake for inviting me to this amazing event. They both finished in the top 10 and had a great tournament. I quickly realized I need to upgrade my kayak situation and be more prepared for this type of fishing. If you have any tips on catching Bass at Cowan Lake I am all ears!

Dicks had anchors pretty cheap. Just need some nylon rope and a spool and your all set. It's a game changer for kayak fishing.
