  1. Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good….however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

  2. Wow just seeing this out of the box https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

  3. A medium rod for top water with 17-20 pound mono????? How about medium heavy with 25lb mono or a mono leader on braid. A medium pole with light line just seems like the ones I’m after are either snapping that pole or breaking that line of the explosive top water hits.

  4. New to fishing with lures. This has been my first year being that we just moved near lake Lanier in Gainesville ga. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!! I subscribed so I'll be seeing ya buddy! Thanks again! Caught 2 3-4 pound bass since I started a couple months ago. Hooked many more but lost them. Loving every minute of it!

  5. i have some new poppers work great but very difficult to get your line through the line keeper because its recessed deep in the face of the bait. should i add a split ring or will it weigh the pooper down? any help would be great

  6. I've had the problem of big smallmouths coming up and shaking the popper out; epically whopper plopper. I always keep tension but I've been wondering if there is a way to keep them from shaking it out. I've thought about learning to back real. Any ideas?

  7. I’ve caught so many fish off a popper when I stop to take a phone call and it’s been sitting for a while. It has suprised me I caught a decent 4 lber while it sat for a solid 2 minutes
