TOPWATER MAGIC my FAVORITE way to catch smallmouth bass!

June can be phenomenal for topwater smallies.. basically everything I’m seeing smallmouth related is post spawn, especially your smaller lakes in MN. The further you get down south the further they are along. I’m sure a lot of fish are holding summer patterns in the southern region of MN. In the central region they are just starting to make the transition but aren’t quite there yet. Today we hit a smaller lake in hopes of finding a giant and just fell short. Soon will be back on the pond chasing giants!
