Top water and swimbaits for pond bass

I’m fishing a 200 plus year old , South Carolina pond. Topwater buzz baits are an early choice but the Yamamoto heart tail produces as well. It’s late afternoon on a hot summer day!

  1. Love it when you're not necessarily using the 'best' of everything. For those of us that don't have access to the expensive equipment,we appreciate these videos and the bank videos. I have learned so much already and just found this series less than a month ago. Wish I had found it earlier. Now binge watching😂

  2. Thank you for sharing! I've been reading your book and recommend it highly. Readable, fun and

loads of knowledge. You mentioned bass bugs and streamer flies in your book.

Do you think this would be a good pond for that?

  3. Mr. Martin where is the dissolved oxygen level the highest in the average freshwater summer and fall and spring and winter water columns? I believe the it is below the thermocline in the winter and above in the summer and satuarated throughout in the spring and fall. This being the there are plants, wind, or some other sort of current. Also, I have hear çd the freshwater aquatic plants produce oxygen in the daytime but take it out of the water at night, is the true?

  4. I watch all of your videos. I have seen you on tv my whole life. I just moved back to the south from arizona and want to start fishing tournaments. I fish for fun every day i can with my kids. I would give anything to fish with you and gain some knowledge but this is close enough. Thank you for doing your channel and inspiring me to try new things and taking the time to teach us all your tricks.

  5. Mr.Roland sir
I have started having a nerves tick and rapid eye lid movement everytime you dunk your reel water ,drop it on sandy bank etc.. .
How often do you clean or up keep your reels. I still use my old round body abu and my favourite diawa millionaire reels, that seem to be high maintenance due to use in saltwater conditions.
Are those reels that you are using that resistance to water baptisms and laying in sandy grass etc.?

  6. Mr. Roland Martin I used to watch you when I was a kid and you're still out there I'm 48 years old glad to see you buddy I subscribed to your Channel keep up the great work well it really isn't work it's fishing not catching
