What rod are you using on this video and what reel?
I know this is an older video, but I would like to say how much I appreciate the completeness and depth at which you present your info. I am never in doubt or have to wonder about an aspect of the combo, lure, terminal tackle, etc that you are recommending or the thought process you used to reach that decision. Thank you for doing what you do and helping the rest of us!

Is there a difference between trolling rods and casting rods? Can you changes you reels and still use a casiting rod for trolling? Fishing for large stirped bass.
I like Lews they make relatively cheap rods and they work amazing! I have a medium heavy fast action which works amazing for crankbaits to light jigs. -Lasor RZ Carbon
I'll have to say that is much different than the way I go about it. It's like you said though the water, cover, structure and even just the personal preference of feel for each bait and condition is unique to each of us.
I live in Florida and use the shimano Zodias line and the Dobyns fury and Sierra rods.

my go to rod is the Okuma TCS Med-Heavy all purpose rod. I have more confidence in it then any other rod.

I checked my spinning rods and only my diawa had 1/4-3/4 but the other two didn't have any specs. Other than diawa the others are Shakespeare. One is a Surf & Pier and I think the other says ambassador

Another good video Jim…my crankbait set-ups are Lew's pro magnesium reel's and St. Croix legend and Legend x-treme rods with sunline sniper florol line great for my squarebills and deep diver's I also just got a lews superduty reel and okuma guide series swimbait rod my first okuma!
