Imagine not having california as the #1 spot lol.
I haven't been to Louisiana have you….. Lol
Why New York has better Bass Fishing than most Southern States ? Much less fishing pressure , half the year there's no fishing because the lakes are frozen over and bass season starts in June. Look at a map of NY and see how much freshwater NY has. Northern NY is completely surrounded by water- the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River with the 1000 islands to fish . On the Eastern Side of the state there's Lake Champlain over 100 miles long – Several Bass Master tournaments there . Then Lake George over 32 miles long to the Hudson River that flows down to NYC . NY is almost completely surrounded by water if you erase the Eastern border with VT. and Mass.. NYC and Long Island with the Atlantic Coast Line – the only state that borders the Great Lakes and the Atlantic Ocean. The Erie Canal that flows for 100's of miles. Eastern Long Island has top 5 saltwater fishing out there.
Much better habitat for bass in NY lakes with rock bottoms . Black Lake and Saratoga Lake, the St. Lawrence River and Lake Champlain are the best places to fish for bass here. The other Lakes in NY like Lake George would easily beat many Southern State Lakes for the number of bass. Much less fishing pressure here because we got Northern Pike, Salmon, Lake Trout that the Southern States don't have. I didn't even mention the Adirondacks or the Finger Lakes. NY is truly blessed with the best fishing in America and the second best hunting in the East after Pennsylvania. NY overall is probably the best hunting and fishing state East of the Mississippi. It's also the 2nd best Salmon State in the US. You could catch a 35 pound King Salmon in the Salmon River here and the next day you could catch a 500 pound Blue Marlin off Long Island. You people think NYC and NYC only. NY State is a wilderness once you leave NYC . NYC gives NY it's bad name.
I grew up on Gun lake Michigan. My parents still live on that lake. Its huge !
The scenery is beautiful and your fishing is amazing.
California has about 6 legendary monster sized largemouth lakes in the weight ranges well above 10-11 lbs lunkers. Texas Alabama and Florida are up there in my list to fish bass.
Georgia is not on the list but ny is?????
California has produced 20 of the 25 largest largemouth ever caught… but yeah, they're not on the list 🙄 Castaic is the best largemouth bass lake in the world and it's a matter of fact that they produced 6 of the 25 largest bass ever… no other Lake but Dixon (also in California) has ever produced more than 2 entries
California is #1
In New York City we also have bass spots.. they aren’t stocked but there is still a decent amount of lakes. Unfortunately a lot of new fishermen and foreigners like to keep the fish when nyc is catch and release for freshwater.. they say I didn’t know you needed a licence or I thought you can keep the fish without bothering to see the rules! And also they litter everywhere! Clean up after yourself!!
California not on the list wow !
Good video, please do a video on just Smallmouth, which are my favorite! I never thought New York would be ahead of Minnesota or even Wisconsin, keep up the good work! Thank you!
I got a 14 pounder
No Tennessee. Really bro, tn number 2 at least
its an amazing fishing ever, Thanks for sharing. Awesome work. You are an excellent fisherman, catch a lot of big fish, congratulations, this place is incredible👍
Good vid. New York bass fishing is fire. In fact it’s hard to go fishing without catching a bass.
Yeah you also can't fish until after the spawn in new York, so the season is short as fuck.
Wow amazing fishing guys and beautiful nature I like your tv.
You don’t name Lake Guntersville in Alabama who made this list? Lol
You could of clipped New York for Tennessee obviously lol
Besides the obvious states you should of names this “sleeper best lakes”
New York? Cmon man.
Being from Alabama this list makes me happy lol I live like 10 minutes from the Tennessee & elk river and tons of creeks and ponds that have bass lol and the Tennessee river holds both largemouth and Small mouth & the elk river holds some good fish too I'm proud to grow up and get to fish the Tennessee river as much as I have when I get a boat im gonna wear them out and hopefully catch some of those giants before the bassmasters catch all of them 😂 I kinda want to fish some of the other states lakes that don't have as much pressure on them
I’m from New York and the bass fishing is not very good
Good my friend 🤝❤️👍🙏
I was hoping to see Michigan
Any other Michiganders here
