These baits work extremely well for spotted bass and smallmouth bass but also work well for largemouth. Winter isn’t the time to be experimenting with new baits so fish these with confidence and know that you’re throwing baits the bass will readily eat, even in the coldest of weather.

LOL_ I had no idea the neko rig was once called "the dick rig"- but that's exactly what I'm gonna call it from now on- thank you for that one.
You know when you think about it with some very slight modifications and exceptions these same baits work for the hottest part of summer to. The fish get lethargic due to the lack of oxygen and heat so you slow down and look for deeper water usually, just like you do in the colder months.
Winter time? It looks warm where you are. Winter time for me means 23 degrees.
