These Bass Lures Work Right Now!! These are the baits we rely on after bass stop spawning. The post spawn transition can be tough to understand but we’ve got you covered! Lately we’ve covered where fish go after the spawn, today we’re focused on the confidence baits we rely on to catch them. Whether you fish shallow or deep, these are the baits we trust!

This time of year can be amazing because bass tend to school together. When you locate them it can be fish after fish for hours! Understanding where the fish position is one piece of the puzzle, knowing which baits to fish confidently is the remaining piece. Today Tim is covering his favorite baits for post spawn bass fishing in a variety of different situations. From muddy water to clear, deep to shallow, these are the baits he uses during the coming months.

Below you’ll find links to the exact baits Tim discussed in the video. We’ve also included some of our favorite budget friendly combos for these techniques. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehousehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

  1. These guys always do such great work. I never usually comment on videos on YouTube but these guys are just amazing with the content. Thank you for all you guys do. My 12 year old son and I are always tuning in and learning.

  2. Just subscribed, been watching all your videos on roku utube channel. You guys are awesome. I make all my own baits, and now I'm making a new resin glide bait 7 inch crappie

  3. Good video. I'm about to place an order on Tackle Warehouse
How is your underspin jig in the rocks and small rocks. Does it get stuck due the 90-degree hook. Let me know so I can order 20 underspins

  4. Thanks guys for all of the great videos and knowledge yall share! I have a question that pertains to post spawn frog fishing.. well, it’s actually a rod related question.. which rod would yall recommend between these four; 1. Fenwick 7’5 x heavy, 2. Daiwa tatula 7’4 heavy, 3. Shimano slxA 7’2 heavy, or 4. Shimano slxA 7’5 heavy?

  5. Man… I've got an 8 month old son, and that clip of your boy yanking on that big one gets me so excited about taking my son fishing in the future. He (your son and mine) will remember that for the rest of his life. 🥹👨‍👦🤌🤙

  6. With these videos you should always take with a large grain of salt because they never mention where they are which differs vastly from every region in the U.S. so if they would first start of by saying wher they are conpletely changes. Whoch nobody ever mentions. I guess some peope just dont understand how weather works and how weather affects regions.

  7. If anyone in the comments like Tokyo Rigs there's a discount place called Ollie's that have them on sale for $1.49 from 1/0-5/0.. they also have a lot of 6th sense trash panda frogs for for under 5 bucks that's under half price (I haven't used them so don't know how good they are). I'm a sucker for a decent deal lol.

  8. Anyone got any tips because when I cast spinner baits my line 6/10 times gets tangled around the shaft with the spinner blades and it’s not because my knot is slipping and I’ve used knot stoppers and all that stuff tied many different types of knots as well!

  9. Tim, what kind of shades are you wearing? Do they help you & protect your eyes? I always need good shades for multiple reasons. Especially seeing through the glare on the water.
    Could you share your source?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge & experience!

  10. Love your content. Living up north, you're about 1-2 months ahead of me, and your videos make me feel like I have a leg up on everyone else at the boat ramp

  11. I love fishing a spinnerbait! The close quarters combat here in South Louisiana really lends well to it…especially this time of year. Always have a few spinnerbait rods rigged and ready. One of my favorites is an old 5'6 Shimano Crucial paired up with a Shimano SLX 6.2 target casting 1/4 to 5/16 spinnerbaits. Its not high tech, but a compact outfit for when these pressured bass are used to seeing bigger spinnerbaits. Yep…a big bass will knock the skirt off a smaller spinnerbait! Lots of fun!!

  12. Im in central Texas and we just had a wave of spawners and I’ve been seeing LARGE shad around what hard structure/cover we have early in the mornings. Never would have thought we’d be getting such later spawners and some we’re good fish.

  13. Thanks Tim. I always learn something new. You need to make and store these video for Southern Florida as these tips as you mentioned are good a bit earlier for us. We are already approaching our long dog days of summer with water already in the upper 80s low 90s 😉
