Can it ever be too hot to fish? Today on Realistic Fishing we are fishing for bass in this early summer heat wave. I am out at 7:30 am and its already 84 degrees! By 8:30 its 87 degrees and getting hotter. The early morning is your best chance at finding bass from the bank. I like to fish in shadows and near cover. I tried 4 different lures today to catch a total of three fish. Two of todays catches were bass, and one was a bluegill. I caught bass on the Lucky Strike Worm, and the Salmo Minnow. Past 9:00 its too hot for me to fish. Good luck to you if you try fishing in this summer heat wave. #fishing #realistic

A group of geese is called a "gaggle". But did you know that a group of husbands is called a "couch", and a group of wives is called a "nag"?
That is the realistic fishing I am used to these days. Just trying to figure out what they want to eat. Thanks for the video. KiR!!!
Hot weather means it’s time to start wading the creeks with an ultralight set up…
Love this video, I personally won my first tournament not too long ago and very proud! Anyways bro another banger of a video remember the grind never stop💪
Come down there at night with an old fashion Jitterbug and you will slam some!
In extreme hot weather, i fish deeper water. Now at night ill fish slightly shallow water. But either way deep water structure ive found to be the key. Prefered soft plastic are gary yomomito in june bug color. Works all year long for me.
I picked up a bag of culprit worms in black, I've heard black is a great old school color that just works and a simple ribbon tail worm is a confidence bait for me.
New Mexico heat right now is keeping the fishing real realistic right now. Texas rig and chatter baits have been keeping me on them though 🎣
These rigs I would say are “target baits” meaning throw it at some kind of structure. Get yourself off the bank lol love ya tho
Can’t lose when a bluegill strikes. KIR
Fishing in the nice warm weather! Realistic!
Early morning fishing at its finest!!
I just got into fishing and really loving it. Going this morning to new spot to hopefully catch some bass. Your channel is awesome!
"Well, let's keep fishing!" That's always the best plan of action. 🙂
How do you get these wrestlers to help you man. That's awesome but crazy. Keep it up dude
Nice half pound bass Alex for
only 25 cents. Also thumbs up video. I’ll take the second bass and bluegill any day.
Way to stick it out Alex!!!! It's roasting here in middle TN isn't it!? Yikes 😬 😬 😬
Your fishing is always amazing, Congratulations you caught beautiful fish this place is wonderful!
Hugs and good fishing always!👍🎣🐟🥰👏👏👏👏
👍
I was fishing in 100 degree heat the other day. Sunfish didn't mind the heat. They were biting good. KIR-istic!
It's been tough for me as well. Hardly caught a thing at the local creek the other day. Just a few small bluegill and redbreast. Shiners always biting though. No bass or other fish. I might try out some nighttime catfishing very soon. I wouldn't mind catching some to eat. I miss having blackened catfish.
Cant wait to get back out there. I got 2 baby boys now, so fishing is on hold for a bit. I live through your videos. Keep up the great content and keep it realistic.
I love how you describe fish sizes in orders of burger size. It cracks me up!
When it gets this hot (85 by 09:00 in KY) – I hit the creeks and look for moving water. Its usually cooler and there's a variety of fish that are more active than the lake bass. Plus, its refreshing to wade after work for an hour or two.
Alex, your "tough" day is still better than my best have been lately. With your skill level, do you ever tournament fish?
Good Stuff!
When it gets hot, I don't want to eat either. Glad you got a few.
Today was scorching hot, but there was a thunderstorm after that, so that definitely helped cool things down.
They just shut down in the summer heat, thanks for keeping it realistic..
What the temperature there? I’m in south west TN, and it’s been 95+ for a few days and nothing below that on the 10day forecast. Having caught a thing in 3 days.
That heat has been something serious for real. Cool that you were able to find a few out there. Those lucky strikes are great unintiminating little lures for the bass in extreme temps. Great job keeping it real as always homie
