Tips for bass fishing in heavy wind

  1. Most bodies of water, not all but most, you will have banks with wind blocked or partially blocked, so it's very do-able. I fish mostly spinnerbaits and will take a high wind day over a calm , slick water day every time. Actually my favorite forecast is cloudy with 10-15mph south or east winds or any mixture of that. Excellent point about having a trolling motor big enough to do the job and plenty of battery power. Anything less than 24volt set up on a boat of any significant size will have you upset.
