Tiny BFS Jerkbait Catches 5 lb. Largemouth Bass!
Hello, everyone! We’ve got bright skies + light winds, so my idea was to hit a small pond for some fun fishing. My main target was crappie, but my very first fish was a 5 lb. largemouth! THAT was a nice surprise! I tried a bunch of different baits and what worked best on this trip was smaller jerkbaits (LC Pointer 65 + Zumverno 95). The pond bass really seemed to like the Shimano Zumverno which is a newer bait for me. I’ll be fishing that 1 a bunch more. So, come along with me, as I head out for an afternoon of fall pond fishing.
