Times Are Tough! We Need Fish!! Kayaking for Big Trout

Winter finally feels like its behind us, warmer weather and longer days, but the saltwater action here in Southern New England surely has awhile before it picks up. This day I went to a stocked Trout lake in CT which allows fishing all through the “pre season”. I was hoping to catch lots of big fish, but realistically I’d be happy to catch anything. Turned out to be better than I expected.

  2. I had a treble in my thumb last year, took two nurses ten minutes to get it out after 2 shots of anaesthetic, I just looked the other way and pretended it wasn't happening. Tried to remove it with some pliers from the boot of the car, using the cutters, but cut it too short so the docs could not get purchase on what was left easily!
