Hit the California Delta on a Thursday evening to chase some bass during a small tide swing — from incoming to outgoing. I focused on the central Delta, mixing things up with frogs, chatterbaits, and some good old-fashioned punching.
This trip was all about exploring new water and building on some familiar areas. It wasn’t an easy day — the bite was tough — but I still managed to grind out a few catches and learn a lot in the process. Sometimes it’s not about numbers, it’s about dialing things in for the future.
