With strong winds and murky water, I knew I needed something loud and visible. A craw-colored chatterbait came to mind—just the right mix of flash and vibration. It ended up being a game-changer.

When I moved to a different part of the lake, the bank turned rocky. The wind was pounding the shoreline, and the sun was heating it up—perfect conditions for a crankbait. I started working it through the rocks and it paid off.

As the sun began to set and the wind calmed, I eased into a shallower area. It felt like a textbook wacky worm situation—and it was. The bite was on.
