A finesse swimbait can be a great way to catch cold water bass. Today I rigged up something just a little bit different. It doesn’t always take a drastically different approach to catch bass. A rig like this can have you catching fish while others are struggling!

A little advice from a US Navy submarine veteran. Too much water in the people compartment is a bad thing.
Well, besides Fishing, I was wondering about your fashion statement. Are you wearing jeans under some windbreakers lol that’s gonna be the new fed. I love it.
Morning the fishing 🎣
Little to much for dinner last night. Lol
I want to get in some more crappie before it really get too cold , need to set up my ultra light
That’s a built in live well for your kayak 😅
Did you ever figure out what was up with the water in your yak?
One of my favorit features on my daiwa prorex s and xr rods are the eva on reelnut and you it's an "open"set underneith so you ger a clear feel on the blank. Not sure if daiwa use the same handle on the american line's of rod, but if they don't they should.
Try a 3" Megabass Spark Shad on a Squadron Minnow Jighead. Thank me later.
Did you figure out how the water got into your yak? I know you have a few Okuma rods. My preference is the psycho stick, and those guide selects are not too far behind. I'm using an Angler Tungsten 1/8 oz Eclipse jighead with a Bass Munitions 3.5" patriot swimbait in the natural shad color. Thanks for the viDebo.
Very informative ❤
My Daiwa steez “moving bait versatile” for smaller swim baits paired up with my steez ct sv tw 70 is my preferred weapon of chose to slay some ditch pickles 🥒. I can cast that setup a country mile, it’s honestly ridiculous how smooth that setup is. Thank you Debo for another awesome video can’t wait to see how the crappie beat down went 😆
Grade video I love those jig heads they work so well can’t wait for the crappy video
It’s great to see you out catching Feesh my friend and showing us that these Lures actually do work. Stay safe Devon on the Water in this Cold Weather, a dunk could be Fatal. S.F.
Debo – I couldn’t tell if you were using scupper plugs, I had a native slayer max 10, used scupper’s and always had a dry ride. Maybe that will help.
My new Ark gravity is my favorite reel 👍
Water in the yak, simple thats your livewell bud 😂😂
The mayor is a great bait. I like them and the Xzone swammer. I fish the mayor on a jig head and the swammer on a swim jig. Both are awesome. … for cold water I like the Keitech easy shiner or fat impact on the okashira screw head, underspin, or the finesse TUSH. The mayor, swammer, and easy I feel cover all scenarios.
Debo have used the zman flash back mini and a great video
Two words, scupper plugs 😂
I use my bfs setup for my small swimbait! I really like the 3/16 with a 3" swimbait. It casts a mile and feels so comfortable with a baitcaster…
Hey Debo, love it when a new bait kicks butt & the mayor does just that. Bring on the crappie 👊
Definitely going to have to grab those jig heads and paddle tails . So many baits , so little time. Lately I’ve been throwing a Bitsy Bug Jig with a 2.75 BioSpawn paddletail . Crushing smallies and largies on it
I'm adding swimbaits and swimjigs to my tackle bag now 😅😅
Love my Jaw Droppers!!🎣 Haven't tried The Mayor yet but I like pairing it up with the Scottsboro Minner in pro blue pearl but check out the Siren Color from them too 🔥
