This Lure SLAYS Winter Bass!!! (Cold Water Fishing Tips)

SLAYING bass on one of the BEST Winter baits! After having a successful fishing trip to the North East River the day before, I decided to return and hone my fishing skills with two KEY winter baits: the blade bait and the jig. Catching nothing on these baits yesterday was worrisome, considering they are two of the very best lures you can throw when it gets cold. After refining my technique and gear, I dialed into fish and absolutely SLAYED EM!!!

  1. LET THE SELLOUT MEMES BEGIN 😎 Jk, but for real, check out Vikings when ur inside and withdrawing from lack of bass thumb 🎣

P.s. 3 vids in a week, the apocalypse is coming, be prepared for zombies 🧟‍♂️

  2. Just bought 3 Heddon Rattlin Sonars. 1/2 oz size. Gold, Silver and Chartreuse colors. From VanDam Warehouse. $4.49 a piece. Went last Saturday. Went with the Gold color. Half way down the pond. Just lifting the bladed bait out of the water. I saw 2 big eyes and a huge mouth. I could have put both fists inside. The big bass was skin hooked. Justvas I reach to lip. Mr. BIG BASS! He turned and tried to Bull dog on the surface away from me. I jumped in the 45 degree water to get a hand under his belly. The very thin skin let go. I am up to my knees in the water. With my arms to the elbows. He got away. By the size of the bass he was 7.5 to 8 pounds. This would broken my PB. By 1.5 to 2.0 pds..So I am writing this text to let other fishermen. The bite on a bladed bait in the winter is light to the touch. If no twich at all. Please beware at the bass could hit a the edge of the water. When lifting the bait. Just seeing his big eyeballs. Then his mouth. He looked like a Submarine coming to the surface. I caught another bass. On a Swim jig later. 2 pounds. Shawn.

  3. Caught a 4 pounder 2 days ago here same technique. Dead low tide super windy. She ate it as I was pulling it out the water. There are some decent ponds not too far from the park if you ever come back!
