I had zero plans to fish today. But you know the weather looked just right and I just had to get out there to get me a few greenies. I headed over to a local creek last minute with only an hour and a half of sunlight left and boy the decision to do so paid off. I took just one rod with me and started throwing a rage craw on a T-Rig, but after a few casts I switched up to what has been slowly becoming my favorite lure, the Bellows Gill. I’m glad I didn’t because the bite picked up immediately.
