I tried the rig on Saturday. On my very first cast, I put a 4 pounder in the boat. Caught fish all day. Easily had an 18 pound bag.

I ordered 3 packs of hover rigs on February 17. Payed for them through PayPal, got a verification from them that my payment went through. I haven’t received any hover rigs and haven’t gotten any kind of confirmation from Core Tackle. Any information on when they will be delivered?
For us that fish snook in saltwater the hover rig looks a lot like the old DOA shrimp! Very Nice to have a rig for Bass also! I've been using flukes as lures on a hover rig

I have mine and have been catching smallmouth on the upper Potomac river with them. No big ones though.
I thought I was doing good catching a 4 pounder on the rig, I have to play catch up now 7 pounder wow. Bait of choice for me is the Strike King "dream shot" in sexy shade

I wouldn't know since I ordered them weeks ago and probably won't get them for weeks. I didn't read whatever fine print said a month plus for shipping
I appreciate you sharing the plastics that worked well for you with the hover rig hook. Would you share plastics that didn't work well in your opinion? I'm wondering about how easy or hard it is to get the hook into ElaZtech and other types of plastics.

Ah heck don’t look no different than a tube jig head to me and looks like it pretty much falls about the same. And for one the fill bait has more surface area for restricting it from falling faster

These rigs are the real deal. I can confirm because I have been catching piles of fish on it long before core tackle came up with this weighted hook. That being said, I am waiting for water temps to rise so I can use these weighted hooks I ordered from core tackle. Tight lines!

I already placed my order for 2 1/8 & 3/64 . This will be a great addition to my already Finesse type fishing I do with Ned Rig. Wacky Rig, Neko Rig. You best believe it will be tied on when I fish my tournament in April.

Heading to the lake right now and I definitely have the core tackle tied on. It's my new go too finesse presentation as I'm waiting on the water temps to rise and the fish to get active.

I bought mine the 1st morning they came out. Question I have that is different, unless I misunderstood it then how Matt showed to hook them up, is he wants the flatside of the bait down. It looks like you had it up.

I can confirm that the Hover rig is, in fact, the deal! I've basically stopped fishing pretty much all other presentations and just been catching piles of fish on the Hover rig. I'm now even doing tweaks and mods (I figured out how to Texas rig it) to get even more out of it!
We shall see how it works this weekend……heading to Lake Ozark.
