This Hidden River Is Full of Toothy Monsters

After flying all the way from Australia to Minnesota, I finally got the chance to float down one of Minnesota’s incredible freshwater rivers on an inflatable paddle board, throwing swimbaits for smallmouth bass. It’s about as simple as fishing gets. Just drifting with the current, casting at anything that looked fishy, and seeing what happened.

This style of fishing is so different to what I’m used to back home in Australia, and it ended up being an absolute blast. Although the fishing was a bit slow, the scenery was, and one of those sessions you don’t want to end.
