  1. It is a tool you are correct. However its a tool that allows anglers that have been fishing less than a year to beat world champion anglers with 30+ yrs of hard earned experience. It allows people who know absolutely nothing about bass behavior and whom have little skills to be competitive. I like you and what your doing with transparency but I disagree with your take on forward facing sonar. . Which is totally fine people need to be able to disagree. Kepp up the good work. Best of luck

  2. At 10:20 you said livescope doesn’t take away your natural instinct, you wouldn’t have natural instinct if you didn’t grow up without livescope and I think that’s the point a lot of “anti livescopers” are trying to convey. At a certain point we will just have people that won’t know what to do without livescope and they view that as a problem. I’m kind of indifferent to the whole thing but I don’t run it and I won’t. For what most bass fishing electronics are they are severely over priced and I will not spend the money and that goes for any graph. I’m not paying $2,000 for an extremely rudimentary computer with a bad screen.

  3. Wow, what a graph. Enjoy it. I am one of those weekend anglers. I don't fish tournaments but let me give you my feelings on this issue on live scope. I have been bass fishing over 50 years. I am retired and fish and release for the fun of it. When one is going to fish for a living meaning house payments, family needs, truck payments and so one, you need all the fishing tools out there. I mean if it takes 5 graphs on the boat go get them. You are making a LIVING at it. That is no brainer.

  4. So with my limited tome to fish (3 or 4 days a month)I'm not too concerned with chasing suspended fish out in open water. What I would like to see is how it can help you line up on a way point, say a rock pile in 25 feet and know exactly where to cast.some video showing tht type of thing would be very helpful. Considering ffs or 360 for this season.

  5. People who do not like the livescope, also don't want other use it, because it will decimate population of the bass, crappie, walleye a lot. People been catching a lot of huge bass on old school baits, and now even with livescope the results diminished a lot. Overpopulation and the technology is going to ruin US public fisheries to the point you will be lucky to catch a single fish.

  6. Man you are doing great. Should have been doing this a lot sooner. Believe it or not you can sale. Good luck on your bright future. Do it for all of us that is shy and hate being in front of a camera or talking to people. I will be pulling for you on the tour.

  7. Tournament Fishing SHOULDN’T be easy.

Ben Milliken, WITHOUT livescope, wouldn’t be a spec on anyone’s radar. Livescope technology is detrimental to the conservation of our fishing waters.
Why should fishing be easy for ANYONE when you’re fishing for money?

  8. The reason it’s boring to watch livescope is: When someone is fishing the bank, the background is changing and the angler is casting at cover which is visible to the viewer. When someone is livescoping, only the angler (until coverage “improves”) can see the screen, and the boat therefore is usually facing what looks like a random direction in wide open featureless water – we can’t see the brush pile or drop off. It’s one thing to watch guys fish, which can be boring, but it’s a whole other level of boring to watch on TV another guy watching TV who occasionally hooks a fish with a noodle of a spinning rod then run laps around his boat anger-whispering “he’s barely hooked please stay on” a dozen times. Also, good luck man, you have my support.

  9. I couldnt agree more, there's zero difference between a guy staring at a screen or his bait on the water. Me personally I'd rather watch a guy using livescope and being able see his screen, can learn a lot more that way.

  10. I hate live scope, I hate all electronics being from FL! Maps is the best part of marine electornics in my opinion. Also; Its more entertaining to watch froggin, spinnerbaits, flipping, on the bank vs guys in the middle of no where in 20-40 feet of water…that is a snooze fest.

  11. I think people find it boring not because of ffs, but because guys are offshore fishing more and not beating the banks at visible targets. Most guys beat the banks or grew up watching old bassmaster with guys flipping, spinnerbaits, and top water. Just my opinion

  12. For fishing sooner is a great tool. However, it should not be used during actual tournament days. It’s not real bass fishing to sight fish for Bass. This applies to when they’re on the beds as well.

  13. I think the reason people thing it is boring is because when the camera is on the fisherman. They aren't talking but looking at the screen. Where it used to be the guys were talking and casting at the bank so you could see more action from the fisherman.

  14. Garmin , Lowrance and Humminbird need to get on board with making their own screens. Right now they just want guys to buy 4 units. But their sales are gonna dip as these NBT screens get popular.

  15. I don’t think we need a season on bass. There are other options available for managing bass populations. Slot limits create a year class that can’t be harvested or put in a live well. I’ve also fished a few lakes that had a few small pockets that was closed to fishing and boating. So the fish in that cove could spawn without being bothered.

  16. I’ve heard guys say off shore fishing was boring before live scope was existed. It’s definitely more entertaining to watch guys flip visible cover or throw a frog in a mat .

  17. Just keep making videos. Talk about your experiences and show people how you like to fish. It will get easier and things will work out. If you keep at it!

  18. Should not be catching spawning fish! I think more southern states need to go to no retaining fish during the spawn. Hauling a fish around in the live well during the spawn is almost guaranteeing the loss of that nest. Yeah the fish may spawn again later if it survives, but it is not likely. So we are keeping the biggest fish from spawning effectively.

  19. I agree. I have a little different perspective. I only have limited amount of time to be able to fish. I'll take any advantage to make my minimal amount of time on the water more enjoyable.. I have LVS34 and wouldn't change a thing.

  20. The biggest thing I have against the “Scope is Boring” narrative is how is it any different than watching the guys stare at 2D like they would now heck B-Lat has a Bass U video on Lanier using 2D as FFS before FFS was a thing, just baffles me FFS has become a scapegoat for previous issues

  21. Support you but not this topic.
Interesting about ffs is pros say they learned that years of bass master magazine was all for nothing. I get it just cause can see them does not mean catch them. But in deer hunting if used spot light, that would change where you hunted. Fishing to me is about putting in the time to figure it out, not drive around with trolling motor until find them. Most you ffs guys would be bounced out if it ended today.
