How cold has it gotten by you? Are you still fishing for bass?
Deeper water is relative. I’ve had pretty good days. Catching under the ice in 6-12. Ft of water. Super clear Lakes in Wisconsin there’s lakes you gotta fish 30 ft water. Because thermal cline goes that deep.
It was 4 degrees this morning LB…I was not going out there
If I did, a Ned and jig would be my go to’s.

I've got somewhere between 8-10" of ice. But, hopefully, warmer days are not that far off! Still going to try and head south in Feb since I had to postpone my Jan trip. Things are just frigid all over.
Unfortunately my water has frozen so now I'm ice fishing. Thanks LowBrow great tips
It's in the 20's and the teens with the wind-chill here in Dallas, Tx
up here in New England hating the winter, about 3 more weeks then its ON !!!!
Great explanation. Thanks for your time.
Thanks for those tips!!!! Very helpful!!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!

35 degrees is warmer than 51 degrees? New math?
Mardi Gras time!
I guarantee I can notice a difference of 3-4° in my house!
I saw a smallmouth fingerling last week that was the same size as post spawn summer ones. Do they spawn at multiple times or what?
It's been below 30 here for a week or better and I'm still catching fish. It's been windy and that's helped with the ice.
Really great explanation of the winter turnover. I'm always trying to find the warmer pockets of water. That's where the bass will be grouped up.
Down in the teens here at night. Won't get above 32° F for a few days. I'll be on the water before the end of the week. Yeah, I'm an idiot. Don't care.

We've been cold but the weather has been pretty stable. Caught some from the bank on a ned rig and small spinnerbait with a single Colorado blade.
One of your most informative videos so far! Keep up the great content!
9 degrees here in Northern Kentucky, yes still bass fishing just have to travel 3 hours to get to not frozen water. No big deal. I'm catching fish off the rocks. Rocks hold heat.
Went out this morning to a pond. 30 degrees. Caught 4, missed even more. Jacksonville FL here.
Keeping a log this year. 32 since Jan 1st
