  1. What the shit i saw lake aurther pop up thought id hit pause and see how far away u were on it but had to rewind to see it and when i hit pause that time i saw Cross Creek Lake dun dun dun…17 miles. I have to say u are my neighbor i only live maybe 8 or 10 miles away from it but flight of a bird its literally 2 hills over. I dont recongnize your name but 17 miles away means u might live on the hill past my place. My farm borders buffalo.

  2. I tried this contraption back in the early 2000. It's not an easy rig to cast. Then there's the headache of tangles, snapping line and just…. well I hate em!!! Umbrella rigs as I recall were used in salt water applications. You troll with em. That's where they belong… just my opinion. I'd prefer a mule rig and just stick to 2 baits. It's got it's issues too but I can deal with that. Good video!

  3. This is a good bait to throw. However, be extremely careful when handling a caught fish. I know a lot of anglers that have been injured by this bait, while handling a caught fish and while in a canoe or kayak.

  4. My first thought was that the title of this video was click bait. Then you showed the umbrella rig. Oh yeah, those things are insanely good. They're a bit unruly for my taste but very effective.

  5. Hello Nathan, I'm relatively new to fishing at the age of almost 53. I decided that I'd like to catch my dinner options from time to time as well as just the sporting fun of the chase to figure if I could outsmart a fish. Unfortunately, with no boat or kayak, bank fishing was going to be my avenue. At least until I tore my meniscus.

I happened on your channel about a month or so ago. I like the ease of your passing of education tactics for the new beginning angler or even someone more seasoned (I would think)

I did hear you say you are in Ohio and based on the portage lake map, I'm guessing you are up in NE Ohio based on that info? I have tried to find other folk from the Buckeye State that fish some of the waters that I might some day fish myself.

  6. Eh, just not my gig, tried it a few times but its just too much. I am going to put some effort into the Magdraft this Spring. Still a fine vid enjoyed it…
