  1. Haters are gonna hate. I have caught bass in 50 degree water on a top water in Ohio. Poppers work great. The 2.99 bass pro shop tourney popper in Tennessee bleeding shad have caught me some huge bass. The baby bass color works great too. I like how you can work a popper slower than the rest of the top waters. Alot of the others you need to retrieve so they dont stay in the strike zone as long.

  3. I tried in Alabama rig Saturday no luck and I tried a pumpkin colored football jig no luck, finally caught one bath after four hours on a green pumpkin swim jig. It’s pretty slow in southern Idaho right now, but things are just starting to warm up.

  4. Finally the fishing is picking up on my lake. Like you say, near the front of pockets is a great place to find good fish. I caught about 20 on a dropshot in the mouth of a side creek arm, near the middle in about 15 feet of water.
