They Almost SUNK Our Boat! How are These Even LEGAL? (Bass Fishing Tournament)

We were competing in a bass fishing tournament on a small lake when all of the sudden some clueless pleasure boaters started driving their wake boats within 20-50 yards off the shore causing massive waves to come over the front deck and fill my boat up. Someone in a smaller boat than mine could have legit capsized from waves like this. I cannot believe these are legal on tiny lakes such as the one we were fishing. The amount of property damage and the potential to be lethal for smaller vessels should be enough to ban these crafts on small lakes in my opinion but what do you think?
