I've always had a ton of confidence in craw patterns and I throw the red chatterbait but I just haven't found that bite yet this year and it's screwing with my confidence😫

You are so right, Jimi! One of my biggest tricks is to fish the water that others can't/won't. That's one of the biggest reasons I fish out of a pontoon. I can get to water that's only inches deep and put a bait on fish that no one else can. Those fish never see a lure so they usually bite with force.
What about the deep end of the highland reservoirs? A creek arm is 110 foot with a channel going to 90ft to 60ft and coming up quickly at the end with steep shorelines.
