It’s a post spawn smallmouth trip. The conditions looked great, but wasn’t so easy getting on these fish. Ron from @FitnessOutdoors joined me in PA from NJ to get on several at a few locations.
Rod – 7’ med power/fast action
Reel – 3000 Carbon X
Line – 10lb braid to 12lb flourocarbon leader
Lures – 3” Rapala jerkbait, 3” DOA swimbait & 2.25” Agent E swimbait

I love the drone shot as Ron sets the hook. Its so cool when a smallie is fighting and other smallies come in to check on the action. Next time Ron will slay.

Had a blast on that trip and I’m looking forward to the next trip in the near future. River was a little high so next trip when it’s lower, I should have a little more success. At 6:30 I think you casted across the river. You got a couple Tanks at the end!!!Perhaps it’ll be topwater time on the next join up.🎣💥🤩

The Creek Mounds is one sweet spot to fish.. so scenic too. Cool swimbait with the yellow paddle tail. Nice music and I bet there are some monster catfish out near those bridge pillars. You caught some fat smallmouth… great spots on them toward the end. Great fishing and video edit Tony.
