  1. I haven't fished the hybrid hunters or hoover rigs either. I probably need to give them a try too… That Zman multrons line through is awesome I've had some 6" in mossback since released. I hope they make an 8" version! That bait has ton of great features. For new baits to try this year I got some of the gremlins, & multiple sizes of the bellows gills, & the hangover line through paddle tail swimbaits.

  2. HH was my juice post spawn and after here in central Florida. Took so many quality fish with it.
Don’t sleep on it in shallower areas that have structure but no grass and just rip and pause.

  3. I like your list Miles! I do follow Matt Stefan's channel too. I can definitely see huge potential for my style of fishing with the Ozark and hover rigs. I'm always skeptical about anything with treble hooks in the grass but need to give the hybrid hunter a shot too this season. I am a big fan of Z-man plastics as well so how about a future video focussing on specific Z-man plastics utilizing the hover and Ozark rigs, rigging, presentation, rod, reel, line, choices, etc.?! I would be very interested in that!!

  4. I had a GIANT snook eat my HH and break me off in some brackish water. Break off my bass gear and swim away. Love the hover rig. But im super interested in the Ozark.

  5. HH jr is a 4wd jerk bait. put a #2 on back. Need stiff rod . put in as nasty wood as you can find. sometimes slow jerks work best. Sometimes fish it faster. caught on clay banks around docks and grass.

  6. The hybrid hunter works, idk how but it does. It’s not just grass, I fish from the bank and crank it through wood with very little issues. Plus it only dives like 2/3ft. I thought it wouldn’t work because of its size and shape but wow it produced from pre spawn, post spawn and it shined during the blue gill spawn in small ponds.

  7. That bait was originally made by Strike pro and was called the Big Bubba. Todd Castledine made it famous and was the first one to use it. He was on their pro staff. He now works for Strike King and they got Strike pro to make it for them. Because Strike pro had stopped selling it. It was discontinued and Todd got Strike King to bring it back as the Hybrid Hunter.

  8. I can vouch for the hybrid hunter the hype is real… I have a camp on Toledo Bend and fish Sam Rayburn a lot as well and ever since this bait has been out under Strikeking I've been using one. Ive caught a bunch of really good fish even a couple double digits.
