Thermocline (What it is and translating it so you catch more BASS)



Everyone always talks about the thermocline but does it actually translate into you catching more fish. I think people are overlooking some key components when relating it to fishing. We’ll go over some of them.

  5. Ive noticed at my home lake around august is when i start catching them dirt shallow on the bank again even tho its the hottest its been all year…not sure if its that way on most lakes or not but here in the carolinas ive noticed it

  6. Do you have to turn up the gain to get the graph to be able to show the thermocline? I have a Garmin echo map and a lowrance elite TI2 and not sure what needs to be adjusted for graphs to show the thermocline.
