  1. I have a situation going on in the body of water that I am fishing that might be cause from this. Well to start off I'm fishing a large old/ongoing limerock quarry here in North Central Florida. Its not Over fished by anymeans but something has happened.
I've fished it in the past and have done very well (especially with swimbaits and catching large bass. ) I have fished the last 3 weeks every afternoon during the week and morning/afternoon/nights during the weekends.
I haven't even laid eyes on a bass Over 3lbs… nor have I had ANY followers even worth speaking on.

    Really has me stumped.
If ANYONE has any info or would give there 2 sense on what could be going on or what has happened, would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

(and yes all that is being thrown is "big baits")

  2. I am new to big swim-baits and I am learning. This is good info. Question, why not fire out another kind of swim bait on the second and third cast instead of repeating the same bait? Also, I have noticed on live scope, when you either catch a bass from a spot, the followers get pulled away from the initial spot and are now wandering aimlessly around. They usually donโ€™t return to the spot.

I remember long ago when the Alabama rig became popular in Bass tournaments. I used to watch competitors just throw and throw to a single area for a long time. Then, all of a sudden a big keeper would commit and be caught. I often wondered was this repetitive casting drawing the bass from distance to the spot. Thanks for the videos

  3. As a new big swimbait thrower, this is something I knew, but didn't, you know? these videos are on point and I like how you give the fish credit, they're smart enough to realize theres a world outside of their water. That's pretty smart๐Ÿคฃ

  4. I love bass fishing and im fairly new. Im also โ€œveryโ€ new to this swimbait lifestyle. I love it. I love the idea, especially as a big game hunter, this โ€œtrophyโ€ style fishing excites me! i appreciate this playlist. its helping me get ready to dip my toes into the big bait world

  5. I couldn't agree more this is a video all bass fisherman should soak in that . If your fishing gigantic lakes this isnt as bad but here in orange county fishing tiny ponds the pressure is extremely intense. I see guys casting in the same spot for hours with the same lure expecting to catch fish, teaching them its unnatural and never getting bit.

  6. Yep! Great concept! The first thing I ask the guys at the dock (DVL), is โ€œ what are the bass doing, and โ€œwhat are they catching them on? Typical answer; bass are deep, and dropshot. So, I do the exact opposite!

  7. Just started watching your videos today … been trying to get your baits for like 6 months … everything I've heard you say and you've showed me I using to become a better swimbait fisherman… from here on out…

  8. I was in my kayak throwing a swim jig when my buddy pulled up in his bass boat. We chatted and passed a doob for about 10 mins and I was occasionally throwing the jig while we did so. My buddy took off and 2 casts later I caught a 6 pounder. I was telling the owner of my local tackle shop about the fish and he said "you probably caught that fish because the boat left". I hadn't made that connection but he might have been right. It definitely could've just been a coincidence but maybe the fish relaxed once the boat was gone and decided to eat.

  9. All of your vids are teaching me what I'm doing wrong and why ive lost and missed my big hud bites so far. Damn good knowledge and truth to the core for beginner swimbaiters like myself, much appreciated man ๐Ÿค˜

  10. I have also observed this. I do this a lot with lipless and chatter baits. I believe there are fish out there that know the signature sound of certain baits and to avoid them. after Ive been casting in an area for a bit and feel like no is following anymore and I'm continuously making the same rattle sound come through the same area I stop and swtich up or move on to keep the fish from running a pattern on me.
