Do you have a lure that you thought would be good but turned out to not work well at all?
yea i have the same experience with that googan bladed jig i really don’t like it feels like way too much idk i never come close to catching anything
tbh i don’t like googan baits period i don’t like that space age alien robot look they all have it turns me off
Misslebaits have the black licorice smell too… are those bad too?
I dont like beaver type baits. They do work but they are only good for 1fish before they are done
I have never caught a fish on David Dudley’s wacky worm. I had lots of bites but never could get a hook up.
The worm has two huge bulbous ends. The fish only hit the ends, chewed like a dogs bone.something actually bite one of the ends off.
This worm on the fall is basically perfect wiggle
Yeah, I fell for Googan's excuse for a chatterbait! It's not good at all! There have been several through the years that I thought for sure would work, only to realize that I had wasted my money! Thanks for another good video!
Great video!!! I'm in the same boat as you!! Been trying some new baits and seen fish being caught on them but I haven't caught a fish on one yet. A couple are some you used and had success but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I decided to go back to my old ways for now. A question on the Yum Shad Attractant: Do you know if Yum is not making the Shad scent any longer? Every where I tried(on-line, local sporting shops) do not have them in stock. Even checked the Yum site and they are out as well. Found some other brand and will be trying this weekend. Stay Safe & God Bless!!!! 🤠👍
Back when the chatter baits first hit the market, I bought some because of all the hype behind them.
I fished with mine for over a year and never caught a damn thing with them. Any time I was on the water I'd fish with them. Still nothing.
About a year ago today, I was fishing my way down a local pond bank on my way to the truck and heading for home for the day.
The chatter bait I had tied on finally got a hit. It was a decent sized bass. That got me excited, so I turned around and walked back up that same bank and I got another hit. This time it was a decent sized channel cat. I never knew that a catfish would hit an artificial lure before that happened. Fifteen minutes later I caught another channel cat. IT was a bit smaller than the first but, it was a fish and it hit my chatter bait after more than a year of not catching anything with them.
I know it sounds crazy but, now I routinely catch fish with the same chatter baits that used to be the most useless baits I had in my arsenal.
I must have just been holding my mouth the wrong way as I was reeling them in before that first successful catch.
My wallet has always been pretty tight when it comes to fishing lures. I just don't see the sense in all them fancy gadgets and gizmos.
I always had trouble with jigs. Trying to get better and I actually caught bass with one this year
I used to feel that way about a tube but I just kept working with them. Eventually I caught a couple fish and that led to more fish and now tubes are a huge bait for me.
I bought some Googan ned baits with rattles in them and I haven't gotten any yet. But I'm going to keep trying. Awesome video as always!
I once bought pack of underpins that the blades didn't work on any of them. They were pretty cheap though
I depend on those cheap baits from Walmart. I can't afford expensive lures so I need creme lures and cotton Cordell cranks.
