In this video I show you some of my challenges with swimbait bass fishing, and what you can do to over come them. Keeping it simple, letting the bait get down before you begin your retrieve, and waiting a little longer before you set the hook made a huge difference for me. I find that swimbaits are a great way to catch fish now that I make sure to apply and do those 3 things.

I keep it simple. I use no. 7, floating Rapalas, seven and eleven inch ribbontail Culprits on a Texas rig, and Yum or Zoomie lizards.
Also had good luck on Magslowl From megabass literally bass killed it on the fall , very easy to use .
Those one up swimbait a work good with a good weighted hook . I used them in the spring can run it thru thick weeds . Me and my nephew cleaned up in like 6 inches or water to 2 ft . The bass couldn’t resist .
