Just like your Mental Monday, I'm always here! I keep telling the grandkids, if I don't learn something new everyday it's a wasted day. Self improvement use to be running 50 to 70 miles a week. Since the accident it's my physical therapy. I'll never get back to where I was, but if I hadn't been fit I would be on the wrong side of the grass. Hooks, line, swivels and such, I get the same response. Their eyes glaze over !!! All we can do is put it out there Randy, someone might hear us in part at least! With the environmental issues, I get blasted the same as you in the comments. I remember how things used to be, rivers catching fire and how filthy Lake Erie once was. Not that it's pristine. But yeah I've had responders comment that I need to build my own lake or buy that wooded lot if I like the trees. Yes we get it to!!!
Yeah, Randy, I think I had a PB on last spring and it got off. I pulled up the 4/0 hook and the hook end was rotated about 75 degrees off the shank. Hooks.

A lot of this is probably "the algorithm." If youtube decides to promote lure videos over other videos then people don't even see it.
Personally I enjoy baits, ever since I was a kid looking through catalogues dreaming of the fish I could catch. I really enjoy the artistic look of fishing lures, plus I learn from channels like yours what works and what doesn’t, that’s what matters to me.👍

Hi Randy being a bank angler there is a little interest in crankbaits, glide baits and hard body swimbaits as they are a quick way for depleting the bank account. LOL
People are always looking for the easy button. Learning is like working they just want an easy button.
Self improvement is like admitting you have been doing something wrong. People just don’t do that anymore
Not many tournaments in the summer around us. Plus the heat and humidity take a way some of the enjoyment.

Believe it or not Randy….. I agree with every point you made here. Environmental issues should not be political, but they have become just that. Self improvement (working out) will help you with the physical part of fishing. I watch all your videos on every topic because you have alot of experience that I can learn from. I may jut agree all the time with your views, but that doesn’t mean I won’t learn from your viewpoint. Excellent video topic.

Keep pushing environmental issues, regardless of the negative feedback. That is not a reflection on you, more so a reflection of the rising immaturity here in the US. The amount of adults with the maturity of children in this country is beyond demoralizing
And yes, my watching slowed during the summer. It's been so damn hot here in Central Florida
I would bet alot of it comes down to what your viewer breakdown is between shoreline fisherman vs boaters. Some topics are more applicable than others
