  1. I catch ocean fish like this all the time on my daiwa and phenix bass rods. But these googan rods are much cheaper than mine and still hold up great! Really impressive

  2. Unfortunately my medium heavy Googan rod snapped in half while fishing. What can i do about it? I still got the bottom half but the other half is somewhere in the river 😭

  3. I bet it was NOT a fish! You might of hooked something like a crab/fish trap, a bag of sand, or a rock. With the boat moving with the current, the waves going up and down, and the light rod bouncing, it will feel like it's pulling sometimes.

  4. i had something similar happen to me fishing lake michigan. took a cast, swore it got stuck between rocks and when we took the boat closer to where my line was but my line was still being pulled out. Never got the chance to see what it was because we snapped it off to fish a different spot.
