Randy those lake's still have monsters in them just look around the spawning beds in spring or buy the launch ramp when there stocking trout or school some live shad so you can take inventory as these fish are very wise and the water is. very clear

I tell ya Randy, it’s been almost two months now since his passing, and I’m still quite emotional about it. In fact I received my Jan/Feb edition of Bassmaster Magazine today and he’s on the cover, with an awesome story inside written by Joe Sills. Anyway, thanks for these stories about him, and I don’t doubt for a second the validity of them, as he was a good, honest man, one I’ll strive daily to emulate. Happy New Year, and God bless.

California is still pretty decent but the fishing pressure has gone through the roof. So many people fishing a few areas really kills off the fishery, especially when they keep bass. I love it out here but it’s gettin tougher and tougher.
