What's your favorite lure to use in the early spring?
i don’t think any lure looks more alive than a jerkbait i love to fish then within eye sight
On a private lake, they’ll bite anything.
You have a awesome channel keep up the good work
I use a Jerkbait all year long. In the spring I use a spinning rod because I am using a shallow water small jerk baits. After the spawn I go to a bigger Jerkbait on a bait casting rig
I’ll be honest, I have never fished a jerkbait on spinning gear. I will have to give it a try. Thank you!
Thanks 😊
I use an open face reel most times I go fishing. Always worked fine for me.
The H2O bait is outstanding for the price. I've caught many with the one that is hover bait. Also got my finger once and had to have it medically removed. Lol. Really though, its a descent bait.
I haven't been able to get out fishing lately but I plan to go tomorrow morning if the weather holds. I'll be sure to have a jerkbait tied on!
I like to go faster in the spring so I'm usually throwing a squarebill or a chatterbait. When I locate bass I'll slow it down and work the area with a jerkbait or topwater like a popper or devils horse.
I started to try to be able to work different levels of the water and it's been working good so far.
I really like a lipless during the spring. I can work it fast or slow. But I need to change things up from time to time. I like to switch to a ned. Another great video LB!
I grew up using a Rebel minnow in the spring on a local field pond but got away from it. I think I need to try a jerkbait next time out. Thanks for the tips!
