Those Christie Critters are awesome, I have to say…
I use nothing but spinning rods
Clearer water: dropshot w a roboworm or zoom trick or finesse. Dirtier water: shakey head w berkley fatty bottom hopper or zoom trick.
KVD said it best, what I learned is you shouldn’t have a favorite bait but have confidence in where the fish are going to be and then decide
The bait you have confidence in. Remember the number one bait, the plastic worm with a clicker. Old school.
Senko, Under-Spin, Spinner bait, jig with rage tail and Square-bill. Normally one of those 5 gets it done for me.
KVD gave the most logical answer. There is no such thing as a monster bait or technique.
I am a spin rod man my self
I have seen a couple of these guys on TV, I like Hanks show, I saw the show where KVD won his third MLF trophy- I have to admit I was rooting for Ish Monroe. Anyway, some darn good fisherman saying how they do it.
The saltwater anglers around my parts say. Att. Always throw topwater. When nothing else is working.
It's interesting that KVD is the only one who basically wouldn't answer the question.. that's what separates him from all his peers. He literally has no all-the-time go-to bait because that's a dumb way to approach fishing.
When it’s tough, definitely taking out the spinning rod with a shakey head
floating worm
when in doubt pull the swim jig out!!
Your channel always brings meaningful, informative content… tho the host (forgot his name, even tho he's the man) almost lost it when talking about the Z-Man TRD bait about 6 months ago… keep up the good work!
When the going gets tough I pull the cold beers out of the cooler and break for lunch. Guess I'll never be a tourney fisherman.
throw every plastic worm you got…as long as it's purple!
I have a question for the pro's how easy do you think it would be to catch the sizes and the amount of fish that you do without the electronics
my go to's = drop shot & mojo rig
Good tips if you need to get on the bass
My go to bait is a NastyFishingTackle Black/Blue Jig with a Black/Blue flake RageTail Craw!! I've caught my PB and several other MONSTAHS on that bait!
I'm a big fan of the Ned rig year round. It works wonders!
Dirty jigs green pumpkin craw 3/8 oz. with rage craw green pumpkin always works for me.
When it gets tough I'm going wacky rig.
Good video
Nice I will pick up some sort of swimbait. Big or small you can fish them so many ways people just don't realize how versatile they are.
No matter what you can't ever go wrong with a ned rig, senko or jerk bait.
My go to bait is the spinner bait, with a slow presentation.
This will help me put together a good panic box. Thanks a bunch!
It all boils down to in which lures the angler has the most confidence. Always hard to beat a jig, soft plastic or crankbait. My go to is a floating worm. It can be presented with so many techniques, which makes it hard to beat.
All great answers from the best in the biz!! I personally go to a wacky senko with a nail weight in one end, or a ned rig!
Great advice and great video Glen. And I echo the sentiments of every one else commenting…go Ned when all else fails.
