  1. Not to bash anybody but i generally dont use navionics or google earth. Think about this, you can i feel evolve more as a fisherman without navionics or google earth. Youll be more in tune of areas you fish without taking out your phone to check google earth or navionics. Final thought our ancestors survived and found fish and they didnt have technology. Theyd have to go outside and take a chance with the weather. They used super basic set ups. ๐Ÿ˜Š imagine all they had was a flexable sabling branch, raw hide string from an animal and a small pointed stick on both sides for a hook and caught fish. Thats amazing to me. ๐Ÿ˜Š Again im not bashing anyone using navionics or google earth. I simplified my fishing not like my ancestors but simplified my gear. A 7 inch leader with size 4 6 or 1 baitholder hook. I tie to my main line with a split shot 1/4 inch above where i tie. Ill use either a trick worm, grub worm or a smoke shad or 5 inch charlies mullet fluke. Ill use trophy bass or nightcrawler by procure on worms. Ill use a 7 inch leader with a size 1 4 or 6 baitholder tie to main like using a bobber with a smalll split shot highter up towards or underneath the bobber. Or, ill just use a weighted bobber. Finally ill use a dropshot with a 16 inch leader. In hot weather a 10 inch leader. Then top water, a buzzbait kvd splash or a wakebait. Then a 2/0 round bend worm hook with a trick worm and rig it weightless let it fall till i get bit. This works great for me.

  2. Most of the bass I caught it was sunny. Yeah, I've fished in the rain and a good old fashioned Rooster Tail 1/6 ounce to land a few half, one pounders. White worked also Orange/Green.

  3. I fish at night quite a bit. That's generally the same as cloudy days, but at least you know that's gonna happen every time the sun goes down. Who knows when it's going be cloudy again.

  4. โ€œWhen the universe gives you a bait you use it.โ€ Just love that. Sounds like you have a perfect idea for a line of merchandise. Totally agree with you. Most of my biggest fish come on those sunny days where they are in predictable places.
