The best luck I had with one was Arizona,don't really know why,when I was scuba diving at Whiskeytown lake in northern cal,I would find a few craws and just hang out in 25',hold the craw with no fish around,it would start flipping it's tail and 10 seconds later there would be at least three bass around me,I would let it go and they would follow it the bottom and just watch it,as it would back away it would be holding it's claws up,out of three times only one went after it,the vibrations had to attract them,seeing it was always interesting.

I’ve studied crawfish 🦞 since I was a kid,when my Dad would take me to country creeks to seine for minnows and crawdads, and then we would fish in the Ohio River creeks and islands with natural brush piles from high water and flooding 😜👍🎣🍀🎣
Studies say that SMB HATE claws. Cut them off land use for panfish bait.

Crawfish don’t become active until water reaches around 50 degrees and you will get 4 times the bites using a shrimp instead of a crawfish. But that don’t help Randy’s cause so buy the crawfish

You know i also wonder how the fishing tackle market is being effected. If all these guys ain't slinging in winning with the newest crankbait or soft plastics are not winning because no ones flipping. How many sponsors will back out . Or take a huge hit on bait market. Since FFS is basically swim baits in drop shot worms

I can’t catch anything on them. Doesn’t make sense, but I do better with a jig.
I’ve wanted to try it but the durability doesn’t seem that great. Watched a few videos and the claws were getting ripped off pretty easy…2 baits 3 fish.
Be aware that the plastic on these will melt if contact with other plastic. I have melted a few of these dudes by not keeping it separated. Just a tip they do get bit.

I had a couple of really good days on it, caught a lot, but also missed a lot. Way too many. The hook seems too small, not enough gap. I heard other ppl say you shouldn't set the hook too hard, and that will help with the hook up percentage. That's unfortunate because It really seemed like a great lure otherwise. 1 other thing, I didn't know it was like an elaztech bait. Stored 2 with other plastics, and they "melted". 20$ down the drain
