YOU DON’T YEARS AND MASTER YOUR SKILL NOW….JUST VIDEO FISHING……RANDY HAS PROVEN HIMSELF AS A TRUE BASSMASTER…..MASTERED HIS SKILLS OVER 40 YEARS AND WON AT EVERY LEVEL….THESE 20 YEARS OLDS TREAT BEING A PRO NOW LIKE POPPING IN THE NEW PS5 VIDEO GAME AND THINK THEY ARE A PRO….90% OF THEM COULD NEVER MAKE IT JUST USING THEIR SKILL….

Other than some big open water smallmouth and spotted bass fishing tournaments, your not seeing guys catching them with ff sonar, fishing roaming fish in the middle of nowhere. They’re catching them with ff sonar off brush piles, weed edges and channel swings. And it’s not that easy. I promise, if Randy ever used ff sonar, his perspective would be much different.

Let me ask LS haters this we as fisherman have ALWAYS bought stuff to help us catch more fish right ??? So that's what FFS does but ALL the other things like SI 360 mapping is ok though ??? U know how many fish big fish I've caught pre FFS with SI ??? Thousands and thousands cause of SI but nobody is bitching about that🙄
Fishing is the easiest its ever been, with ffs, spit lock ppl don't even need to know how to hold a position in the wind anymore, boat positioning used to be a skill in the wind and an advantage you would have but not anymore, the sport is a joke it's way to easy now
I believe lots of big bass come shallow early and late in the day to eat then scoot out
You can't get much more old school than me as I'm well past 68. Yes there are wolf packs roaming the middle in ten foot or so, that said those in twenty and better should be harvested as they won't survive the pressure change. Tournament fishermen should be showcasing their knowledge and skill, not their ability to mass slaughter the fish they make money on. I'm for tournament bans, the weekend fisherman should make up their own mind. I've fished with and without electronics, doesn't matter much too me. When you can get into the mind of the fish you know where they'll be.
Technology and the pro-ing thereof will destroy humans and the world. Problem with Randy is he used technologies/electronics to build his career and he's against FFS. That's hypocritical. Me? I've always been against technology, including sonar so I can say so. I've been saying all electronics of any kind should be banned from tournaments.
I have conflicting thoughts. The bass in our lake don't get big & fat from poking around the shoreline brush rooting up crawdads and frogs anymore. Damselflies, dragonflies and frogs are all but gone because of drastic lake level fluctuations and/or poor water quality. And crawfish are probably on their way out too. The fishes primary forage is the pelagic shad.
So NOT CARING about the fish that are open water roamers might still work on farm ponds and strip pits…… but I'm afraid it's becoming more and more a losers game on larger/older impoundments like LakeO, Tablerock, Stockton ect. where the other types of forage are being decimated.
