The Lure That Caught Them All – Big Bass on a Day the Stripers Would NOT Touch a Bucktail!

Historically, for generations, the rips in Eastern Long Island have one go-to set up: a three way swivel with a heavy sinker and a long leader connected to a 1 to 1.5 ounce bucktail with a strip on said bucktail.

On this mid-June date off these very rips, the stripers just did not want to touch that lure. My clients Ed and Holly instead utilized an almost 6 ounce paddletail to amazing results.
