It’s midsummer on the delta bass bite continues to improve. We’re getting closer to normal but we’re not there yeat, anglers are beginning to see good numbers but the size will need to improve before everyone is smiling. Fewer big bass due to people keeping big females. You can tell by the live bait they use during spring time. CA should start a Sharelunker program or slot size to protect big bass.

I went out to Honkercut on Wed, alot of little bass, and they hit on everything I used, senkos, crawdads, crankbaits in the middle slough and topwater. only two over 14"!
Hi Mr. C. My partner and I were rotating a spot with the am winners for the snag proof. On Sunday we left for 30 minutes and when we returned, they had 2 fish over 5. Oops. Glad they won. Was a lot of fun.
I’m from the Central Valley and don’t fish the delta but once a year for a toc In September. What size braid are you using for the Rico pop?

Thanks for all the information Steve Lathrop is finally opened they opened a couple weeks ago and the water visibility is still terrible maybe a foot maybe less in some areas got that chocolate colored still fishing is really tough. Just letting you know I’m out there 3-4 days a week and it’s tough
