We all know the fishing walk of shame. I love when I can redeem myself and catch a bass! Today I try a new fishing spot. I try fishing a plastic worm two different way. I try a wacky rig, and a Texas rig. But unfortunately I end up doing the walk of shame. I decide to try my luck a few hours later at a different location, and I totally redeem myself! I catch a nice largemouth bass on a fluke! I am only able to get one bass today, but thats all it takes to redeem myself from the fishing walk of shame. #realistic #fishing

Fluke for the win!
You are very good at casting Alex, some of those overhanging trees would snag a lot of people. KIR
That is the kind of patience you have to have to find success sometimes in the fishing game.
Way to keep trying Alex! Nice looking Bass!
one bass is always better than none bass!
Nice skunk beater! No walk of shame! Been fishing my childhood Lake this week due to wildfire evacuations, wanting to check out this big layer down tree! Thanks for the video!
KIR!
You had nothing to be ashamed of, even if you hadn't caught that nice one. At least you were out there trying and not glued to the couch. It's like another 'Tuber I follow says, "you have to learn the seasonal patterns and bass behavior" and other blah, blah, blah ad nauseum (LOL). Looking forward to your next one.
Fishing has been tough this year. But nothings like putting a line in the water. God bless buddy.
Only one but, it was a nice one. Great video Alex!
Started fishing this summer haven’t caught anything yet so Ik how this feels but still waiting for that first fish
Should I have loaded tots from Domino's for the 3rd straight night? 🤣😃
No shame brother I myself had days like that but I'm doing what I love enjoying nature and being outside fish on🐠
You caught one more than I did today! Keep it Realistic!
A chatterbait or a spinnerbait might have worked on the choppy water
Sup Alex, never a walk of shame, getting outdoors doing what love, gathering recon is more like it lol. Water is low wow, switched up and cought a nice bass, recon worked. So that's what they look like LOL, Tyvm tc 🎣
That point at Long Hunter (Percy Priest) you started at is tough. The channel runs next to it so there is a 30+ foot drop off a few feet from land. Where you first cast is super shallow/ flat until the drop off (more gradual in off screen to right in small bay).
Nice bass, Alex.
Fishing can get tough this time of year. Weather is changing. They are pulling the lakes down for the winter.
Nice fish to break up the grind. I've been avoiding lakes and focusing on spillways with ok results. Cheers brother!🍻
Great way to keep trying, change up lures and get that bass! Thanks for keeping it realistic!!
I always gotta get that 1st fish or I'll drive myself crazy all day of what am I doing wrong. 😂
Yeah, it's rough everywhere for bank fishermen…I had a 3 bass day a few days ago but it took almost 3 hours to do so, and I caught the first one on my 3rd cast with a Choppo. Keep It Realistic as always, Alex!
It's over when we say it's over. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? You got a nice Fall bass. More to come.
KI💯R‼️
0️⃣ 🐂💩‼️
As always thanks for always Keeping it Real
"stay down" turned that dude into an acrobat. No walk of shame today AI. Fish on!
I feel your pain brother … after an unforgettable summer of fishing , I also have hit a wall and have resorted to panfish to catch something…🤪 fall is setting in here in Canada so hopefully the bite will pick up. Love your show , always stoked to see the next video. Keep it Realistic!!!
Yes. It’s been tough for sure. At least you found 1 good one. Nice fish Alex. Hope we all have a little luck. Thanks bro
The ebb and flow of that log is insane! Love the videos. KIR
I exprerienced the same thing in my lakes. Even if u see them on livescope they don't even move. I think severe oxygen depletion. This rain should help a lot. As for the reel, this noise is sometimes from the line exiting the line guide. Thinner line will be quieter, but i know it will cost u some lures and some fish and other headaches. There is always a tradeoff of some kind. I promise you fishing will improve after a week of rains though. I am struggling just as much as u when i fish lakes, which is why i fish mostly TN river, which has oxygen all summer
Avoided the skunk. Way to keep after it. Sorry the new place didn't pan out.
One is better than None
When we were kids with no money to buy our own equipment/lures at the sporting goods store, we used to beg our mom to takes us to the river or lake nearest our home so that we could look for fishing lures and other random fishing stuff that unfortunate fishermen and women happened to lose while the water was at full depth.
In our area the water levels rise and fall depending on what time of year it is. When the water levels were at their lowest, I can remember finding soft-plastic baits, crankbaits, sinkers, hooks, swivels and an occasional fishing rod and reel. That's how we'd fill our tackle boxes.
Some of the stuff we'd find snagged on stumps, branches and between rocks was high dollar stuff too.
Hear ya there man. Last time i went fishing was an utter diasaster– nothing went right, snagged on everything, spilled my tackle box, and had a hell of a birds nest, and no bass. Epic walk of shame.
This morning I went. Bite wasnt great, but I did catch one about a pound and a half with nice dark green color. Was the sole catch but I was glad to have him and very appreciative after the prior utter clusterscrew of an outing. Nice fight on it too, bro was big mad.
One is better than none, nice fluke Bass. It's been a fluke fall in Evansville Indiana 😅❤😂
I'd rather walk skunked than sleep in and wonder if I missed out…
Good video Alex nice bass🤛
Tough fishing man, I went fishing Thursday and nothing. Sucks, I'm becoming less active as the bite is slowing down, not sure when I would return. Hopefully soon.
Tough going Alex, but no skunk! That was a nice fish!
No walk of shame! That's a stride of pride!!! But crazy how low the water is…..
Yeah we all have them days bro 👌😎❤
👍🏻😎 You've caught a lot of nice Bass this year Alex. KIR!!
I think Ron Simmons summed your day up best. KIR
You’re so negative.
most of the lakes close to me are sucking for me, I'm trying some new lakes I haven't fished in years next week. KIR
First non-bot 🤪 Some low water for sure
We have all been there…. The main thing is not to ever give up keep on going and you will have success. 🎣🐠
